At Velvet Interiors, we collaborate closely with you to understand your lifestyle and project. From architectural review to styling, we like to get involved from the early beginnings and stay until the last cushion is plumped.

A full project can be exhausting, stressful and decision making fatigue can set in. With our meticulous planning, design, hand holding and support we help you navigate the tricky aspects, the little details and the decisions that add up to an elevated finish.

You can choose your level of design input and involvement in creating your dream home. Many clients come for design only and feel confident to implement themselves.

Velvet Interiors offer a full fit out and turnkey supply using our trusted team of partners and trades to help you implement the vision working in close partnership with your selected contractor and architect.

One Room Renovation

Velvet Interiors favourite project is a room renovation or refresh. Seeing the impact of a room given new lease of life and vibrant is what we love.

Our one room (or a few more) service offers a home consultation, followed by a private studio consultation, where thoughtfully considered concepts for your home are presented. You can relax with a coffee and enjoy the process of seeing the best solutions for your dream room.

Samples and moodboards will be yours to take away for consideration. We offer a four week window where you can reach out to with us for follow on advice.

Velvet Interiors have carefully curated suppliers from across Europe, and we will be able to supply and install all of the items on your mood board from curtains to lights.

One room consultations include window dressings, soft furnishings, wallpaper and paint, furniture, lighting, art, styling, flooring and layout suggestions.

Bespoke cabinetry drawings are also available.

Styling

Have you built or decorated but still feel like you are missing that certain something or final details?

You are missing the cherry on top, the styling. When it come to styling a room, it’s an art.

From a blanket thrown over a chair, a perfectly styled floral arrangement, a bold piece of art, to a gorgeous pot- these are the details that elevate your home. It’s rather like fashion; You can get just get dressed, or you can add the finishing jewellery.

Our team come to your home loaded with beautiful things and work their magic.

Styling services start at £150 and starts with a shop walk through and review of images of your home.

Kitchens & Cabinetry

We are fortunate to have our experienced kitchen and cabintery designer in house at Velvet to help us create tailored bespoke rooms.

Equally comfortable with classic and modern designs, we combine classic craftsmanship with creative new materials, designs and finishes.

Our portfolio of cinema rooms, kitchens, library walls, studies showcase how we can elevate a hard working space into something exceptional.

We don’t just supply a kitchen. We design and consider every detail of the room interior. Flooring, lighting, M&E placement, furniture, the overarching design style, flooring, appliances, and ensure it fits with your life.

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • A one room consultation starts at £450. Full house design and management projects are all costed following a detailed discussions but as a guide, it will cost from £5,000 upwards.

  • Yes of course! The shop and studio are open to call in Wednesday to Saturday. You can call to look at fabrics, curtains, paint and furniture or discuss a project.

  • We work throughout Ireland and the UK on a variety of projects.

  • As soon as you have a first draft plan from your architect is best. But people come at all stages.

  • We supply bespoke window dressings crafted in Northern Ireland. We also have a measuring and fitting service. As the iconic designer Nina Campbell once said ‘husbands come and go, but hold on to your curtain makers’. They are a valuable part of our team.

  • It very much depends on the project, but we do. We prefer to be over the project detail and installation of our designs for the best results.

  • If we had been left to our own devices, we would have gone with ‘Safe’ and what we know. Your involvement pushed our boundaries and as a result we have ended with a beautiful retreat.
